ELSYS Laser Systems has had an environmental program in effect since it's conception in 1988. The program has controls in place at the following levels:

Office, Production, Distribution

Office objectives:

  • reduce waste through re-utilization

  • recycling of materials

  • education of employees on environmental impact of office waste

Production Objectives

  • control waste

  • recycle used materials

  • reuse of materials

  • energy savings

Distribution objective

  • reduce fuel consumption

The environmental program is an integral part of INTERNAL QUALITY AUDIT and MANAGEMENT REVIEW activities (QUALITY MANUAL Section 2.4 ISO Ref 4.11.2) and is continually upgraded in order to meet changing technologies and methods.

  • The product is a combination of new and recycled materials. The source of the recycled materials is our own recovery program in place since 1988.

  • Our product meets the ECP - 42 guidelines through the compliance with the CGSB program.

  • Our product comes with information materials.

  • A waste audit is carried out every year. It is part of INTERNAL QUALITY AUDIT and is subjected to periodical management reviews.

  • We divert metal, plastic, and cardboard to appropriate recycling facilities.

  • We do not use hazardous materials.

  • Our packaging is composed of recycled materials and is reusable. We have in place a program to recover used packaging.
